A composer versatile across film, television and concert music, Stuart Hancock is the recipient of a British Composer Award, the ASCAP Harold Arlen Film & TV Award, and the Jerry Goldsmith Award for Best Composer. His orchestral score for the animated TV special ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ won Stuart the Jerry Goldsmith and Music+Sound Awards in 2017, and he has conducted the score-to-picture for family audiences globally.

Other notable scoring credits include BBC drama ‘Atlantis’, Netflix comedy-horror ‘Crazyhead’ and documentaries for the History Channel and BBC Storyville. In 2023, Stuart composed his third youth opera, ‘Pandora’s Box’, staged by London Youth Opera.
