Camilla began her career as a freelance journalist before moving into producing and directing TV documentaries and arts programmes. She joined Channel 4 in 1999 as Editor, Arts & Animation, where she met Ruth Fielding, with whom she would go on to found Lupus Films in 2002. Through Lupus Films, the pair have produced many award-winning animated and live action films, specials and series. Among these are the BAFTA nominated specials ‘The Snowman and The Snowdog’ and ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ and International Emmy award-winning ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’.

In addition to producing ‘Kensuke’s Kingdom’, Lupus Films have produced a number of feature films including an animated adaptation of Raymond Briggs’ graphic novel ‘Ethel & Ernest’, a live-action rom-com ‘A Christmas Number One’ for Sky and Universal Pictures, and currently have a number of animated and live-action films in various stages of pre-production and development.
