Multi-award-winning, London-born actress Sally Hawkins graduated from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 1998 and has starred in countless stage, film and television productions including: All or Nothing (2002), Tipping the Velvet (2002), Little Britain (2003), Layer Cake (2004), Vera Drake (2004) and Fingersmith (2005).  Her performance as Poppy in Mike Leigh’s Happy-Go-Lucky (2008) earned her several awards including a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy.

In 2013, Sally Hawkins starred in Woody Allen’s Blue Jasmine, for which she received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.  She went on to play lead roles in Made in Dagenham (2010), Paddington (2014), Maudie (2016) and Paddington 2 (2017).  Her role in Guillermo del Torro’s The Shape of Water (2017) earned her worldwide critical acclaim and another Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. More recently, Sally has appeared in Spencer (2022), for which she won the AACTA International Award and The Lost King (2022), for which she won a British Independent Film Award.
